Tennessee's 8th congressional district, as drawn for the 2026 elections, takes in Madison, Gibson, and Henderson counties and parts of Shelby and Tipton. About 767,800 people live within its 2026 boundaries, with a median age of 41.3. Measured on those boundaries, the district has voted Republican in every presidential election since 2012, by narrowing margins. The margin was R+22.0 in 2012, R+21.3 in 2016, R+15.6 in 2020, and R+20.1 in 2024.
