On Top of the World is a master-planned, age-restricted community near Ocala whose electorate skews older than almost any comparably sized Florida place, making it an unusually reliable bellwether for retiree voting patterns in Marion County.
Across the recorded series it reached a Republican high of 26.3 points in 2016. Between 2020 and 2024 the city moved 2.9 points toward the Republican candidate; the 2024 margin was 22.9 points.
