California's 24th congressional district, as drawn for the 2026 elections, runs along the Central Coast, drawing from Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo counties. About 764,500 people live within its 2026 boundaries, with a median age of 37.4. Measured on those boundaries, the district has voted Democratic in every presidential election since 2012. The margin was D+16.1 in 2012, D+24.9 in 2016, D+29.0 in 2020, and D+24.8 in 2024.
