Report a problem with Akashic’s facts
If a figure or statement on Akashic is wrong, say what the page shows, what you believe it should be and how you know. Every report is checked against the sources. You do not need an account, and Akashic does not ask who you are.

What happens to a report
- Akashic keeps what you write and when it arrived, for seven years. Nothing else is kept with it: no name, no email address, no account and no network address. If you are signed in, the report is still not linked to you.
- Your reference is the only way back to your report. It is shown once, when you send the report, and anyone who has it can read the report — so keep it to yourself. A lost reference cannot be recovered; send the report again instead.
- Every report is checked against the sources. When a report is right, the correction is published in a new release, and the earlier release keeps its address and says it was superseded; every release is listed in the release catalogue. When a report is not right, the tracking page says why.
- This form is for a published figure that is wrong. If an election or a place is missing altogether, the coverage page says what each release covers and what is still to come.
- Figures on Live change as counts come in; a report about one is checked once the count it comes from is final.
