Klobuchar is a freight train. She leads all potential Republican opponents by 14-20 points in polling, won the DFL straw poll with 79%, and routinely overperforms in Minnesota — she won her 2018 Senate race by 24 points. Lisa Demuth is the strongest GOP option as MN House Speaker, but even she trails by 14. The only wrinkle is the 16% ‘uncommitted’ vote in the straw poll from the progressive wing, but that protest energy will consolidate in the general. This could be a 20+ point win.
