This is a Kotek-Drazan rematch from 2022, but without the independent spoiler who took 8.6% last time. Kotek won 46.9-43.5 in 2022 and those third-party voters skew left, so in a head-to-head the math is clearly in Kotek’s favor. Polling shows 61% of Oregon voters want someone who will challenge Trump’s agenda vs. 34% who want implementation. Kotek has $1.5M banked to Drazan’s $750K, and Trump’s crackdown on Portland gives Democrats a galvanizing issue. Oregon is blue enough that Drazan needs everything to go right, and it won’t.
