Sanders won by 28 points in 2022 and has used the governorship as a national media platform, which plays well in deep red Arkansas. The state hasn’t elected a Democratic governor since Mike Beebe in 2006, and the trend line has only gotten worse — Trump won by 31 in 2024. Fredrick Love is a credible state senator but has no path in a state where the Democratic brand is this damaged. This is a Safe R hold.
