The election, demographic, and editorial DATA rendered by these widgets is
covered separately by the CC BY 4.0 license documented in /LICENSE.txt.

In practice this means:

  * You may take the widget code, fork it, restyle it, ship it inside your
    own product — that's MIT.
  * You must keep the source attribution to akashic.app visible in the
    rendered widget (a small "Source: akashic.app" line). That's a CC BY 4.0
    attribution requirement on the data, not a code-license requirement.

The data attribution wordmark is enforced technically in the widget bundle
(rendered by default, hidden only via a hostile CSS override which violates
the CC BY 4.0 attribution clause).
